Island Style Frames
About my frames....
I make all of the frames for my photos. I prefer to use cedar, pine and weathered wood when I can find it. I choose the tropical colors that are found in the places where I've taken the photos. The main colors that I use are shown in the chart to the left. I can also paint your frame in a color that you suggest. After painting the frames I then go through a process to give them a distressed or weathered look. Each frame is done individually. The frame and color choice accents the mood of the photo and therefore becomes part of the art. This makes each piece "one of a kind" or an original.
I make three types of frame styles, flat, boxed or window . I mostly make my frames from rough cedar planks.
Thanks for your interest...
